About the Workshop
This workshop is for OT’s requiring further guidance and support in all things AT in the NDIS. AT processes can be confusing, but this workshop will assist to break down the jargon and understand the role of the OT at all levels of AT prescription. The workshop will focus on understanding the NDIS rules and application of the AT operational guidelines. It will also include and overview of the various processes based on risk and cost, with respect to assessment, trials and reporting. We will review the structure of the AT template (the better hybrid version), sample mid-cost AT template and discuss the evidence needed for AT success!

About the Presenter:
With 20 years of experience, Sarah Collison is an Occupational Therapist and Director of Verve OT. Sarah graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of Sydney and has worked across a broad range of clinical settings including rehabilitation, injury management, health, medico-legal and disability.
A passionate supporter of the NDIS, Sarah runs her own private practice Verve OT based in Sydney and provides supervision and training to other OT’s in all things NDIS. She has a special interest in complex home modifications and can often be found trampling around building sites all over Sydney. Sarah is a member of the OTA NDIS National Reference Group and facilitator of the NDIS OT Community of Practice
