What do OTs across Australia have to say?
Having the option of self-paced learning and access for 6 months is particularly valuable to me - it has allowed me to learn in a way that best supports my style and understanding, as I tend to be slower with encoding new information and often prefer to stand and move around while learning.
So being able to absorb content at my own pace and pause, take notes, rewind and reflect has greatly enhanced my understanding and in turn my confidence making it an amazing option to have and to offer.
I also love learning as a hobby so having access to expert content at my finger tips has been both amazing and motivating.
Thank you to the team at Verve OT!

Unpacking SIL & ILO: OT Assessment and Report
The workshop was better than I anticipated. Not only I learned about ILO and SIL but also I learnt about some big mistakes which I didn't know I had in writing simple Functional Capacity Assessments which I will definitely solve in my future reports. My key take away from this course was a basic understanding and differences between SIL and ILO and have a broader opinion on how to choose between Drop-in supports, ILO and SIL. I believe this was really informative and OTs who are trying to write quality reports, should engage in these courses.

OT Legal Essentials: Reports, Requests and Court Appearances
I found the workshop easy to follow, open and relaxed but informative with just the right balance between full on serious 'bogging down' information and general discussion - good for my learning style. A key takeaway learning point I got was that despite knowing it, I really understood that I am the expert and that language use is EVERYTHING. OTs would benefit as it is good for understanding of where things can go to in the OT world of NDIS as what our role within that looks like, and how our reports / language is so important.

Neuro-Affirming OT Practice
Claire was absolutely amazing, her delivery was warm, engaging and easy to follow and her passion contagious! The workshop included practical goal setting and intervention strategies, making it an excellent learning opportunity for OTs looking to build confidence when working with neurodivergent clients and embedding neurodiversity-informed approaches into their practice.

Navigating Assistive Technology in the NDIS
Sarah delivered an excellent workshop that was clear and easy to follow. The workshop included practical examples, a helpful template and attached relevant NDIS resources, so you don't have to go searching for them on the NDIS website. A great workshop to attend if you're looking to build confidence and insight into the AT process and supporting clients through it
