What will you learn?
Meal preparation is a key activity of daily living that promotes independence, participation and wellbeing. Occupational Therapists play an essential role in supporting clients to build capacity in this area through structured, evidence-based interventions.

This focused workshop explores practical strategies for assessing, planning and evaluating meal preparation interventions. Participants will gain insights into the application of OT approaches within the NDIS framework with an emphasis on real-world application.

A functional task analysis using the PEO Model (Person–Environment–Occupation) will be used to unpack the complexities of cooking tasks. Participants will also examine standardised and non-standardised assessment tools, goal setting practices and strategies to measure outcomes effectively – brought to life through an in-depth case study.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

The host was very informative and tailored the session to what was requested/wanted to be focused on during the session which was very helpful.

The on-demand format of the workshop was extremely convenient and allowed me to engage with the material at my own pace. It seemlessly went through the intervention process and made it relevant to the NDIS space. Highly recommend.
