About the Presenter
Lauren Hennessy is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for improving outcomes for older adults and supporting Occupational Therapists to build their confidence working in aged care.
Her experience spans Australia, Ireland and the UK, with roles across community health and aged care encompassing clinical practice, education and leadership. Lauren has worked extensively with older adults in community-based settings and brings a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges Occupational Therapists face when navigating aged care services.
Lauren is particularly passionate about professional advocacy and education that supports high-quality Occupational Therapy practice. She enjoys helping Occupational Therapists make sense of the aged care landscape, recognise how their existing clinical skills can transfer into this area and feel better equipped to work within an evolving system.
