Meet Kelsy Vanderwoude


Kelsy is an experienced Occupational Therapist bringing a strong background in supporting children and young adults aged 0–24 within the community disability sector.

She has extensive experience in assistive technology prescription, complex seating, functional capacity assessments, minor home modifications, sensory processing intervention and delivering tailored capacity building interventions.

Kelsy's supervision style is collaborative, strengths-based and focused on supporting meaningful professional growth. Kelsy aims to work alongside supervisees to establish clear, achievable goals and create a reflective environment that encourages learning and confidence.

Having completed Foundation Coach Approach training, she incorporates coaching principles into supervision by using purposeful questioning, active listening, and guided reflection to empower individuals to identify their own solutions.

Kelsy places a strong emphasis on practical strategies and actionable outcomes, ensuring that supervision discussions translate into sustainable changes that can be effectively embedded into everyday clinical practice.
