She has particular expertise in complex Assistive Technology and seating, home modifications and functional assessment, and enjoys supporting clinicians to navigate the often complex clinical reasoning, documentation and funding considerations involved in NDIS practice.

Megan brings a practical, evidence-informed approach to clinical supervision. She has extensive experience supporting Occupational Therapists to develop their clinical reasoning, navigate complex presentations, critically evaluate recommendations and build confidence in their professional practice. This includes supporting clinicians with the assessment and prescription of complex AT, developing and justifying home modification recommendations, and completing comprehensive FCAs and functional assessments.

Megan has a particular interest in the clinical reasoning that underpins good Occupational Therapy practice. She enjoys working collaboratively with clinicians to unpack challenging cases, identify risks, consider alternative approaches and ensure recommendations are clinically defensible and genuinely aligned with a participant’s functional needs and goals. She can also assist clinicians to translate their clinical reasoning into clear, well-structured reports that effectively communicate the rationale for their recommendations within the NDIS context.

As a supervisor, Megan aims to provide a supportive but appropriately challenging environment where clinicians can reflect on their practice, ask difficult questions and develop greater confidence in their own clinical decision-making. Her supervision style is practical, honest and grounded in real-world clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on professional reasoning, quality practice and continual development.

Megan currently works across clinical supervision, complex assessment, Assistive Technology and complex home modifications practice, and has extensive experience mentoring and supervising Occupational Therapists at varying stages of their careers.
